Welcome to the USA Department of 急诊医学 website, part of the USA academic 卫生系统. We are dedicated to excellence in clinical care, medical education, scientific discovery, and service. Our program includes emergency departments at two hospitals in the 卫生系统 (美国健康 University Hospital and 美国健康 孩子们的 & Women's Hospital) and also a Freestanding ED, which see a combined volume of approximately 达100000人次. 美国健康 is the only academic medical system in the region and has the only tertiary referral hospitals. They provide several unique regional medical resources including Level I trauma care, regional burn care, interventional stroke program, regional Level III neonatal care, and others. 医院的急诊部 孩子们的 & Women's Hospital is the only pediatric ED for the entire region. 

The Department of 急诊医学 has undergone substantial academic growth since 2016, with the addition of many new faculty and the development of new programs. 这些 include a Division of Pediatric 急诊医学, a new 急诊医学住院医师 training program, as well as a clinical research program. 我们的新开业 state-of-the-art Trauma Emergency Department in 2021 and a new Pediatric ED in 2024 allow us to care for a broader range of patients in our region and beyond.
